Merry Christmas!

Well this last week has not been to exciting but it was still a lot of fun with my companion. We have been working really hard this week with our investigator, whose name is Francisco and his wife Ana. They are pretty sweet. They went to church this last week and when we followed up with them, she told us that she has never felt so good in her life than when she was in the church with us. She told us that she went to church with the TJ's or the Jehovah Witnesses and that she felt more sick, but with us she felt healed. So we are pretty excited for her. Her daughter is hilarious she just turned five; it was her birthday this last week and she had a piƱata and a little fiesta and we helped her with that. A member came with us and he took a picture and she said “I wanna take a picture “ and she took like a 100 on his phone. She was hilarious and then she took some with my camera too.

We also found an investigator this week, her name is Clara. She is pretty cool. Her and her brother contacted us in the street and we have been teaching them too. They are pretty sweet. One day this week though, she offered us coca cola but we were late for our next appointment because she really likes to ask questions, so we told her “no, sorry we have to go but the next time maybe” and she got a little angry; so we accepted and she also made us eat cookies. Well, at the next visit ,she asked us why we didn't accept her offering and she asked if it was because they look poor and she chewed us out a little. We apologized a lot and drank some more coca cola and she bought us each a bottle and a package of cookies.

This week we also painted a room in the house of the councilor to the stake presidency and he also came to play basketball with us this morning. He likes it a lot and there is also another member in our ward who plays a lot so it was a lot of fun.

We had a mission activity this last week and it went well, but the other elders showed up almost an hour late and they were in charge of it. We did our best in the mean time to stall the people because the elders said they were coming. Well, a few people left and finally when they elders showed up, we started. It went well, I think, but we are going to do it every week so hopefully it gets better every week.

Well, other than that I don't think anything exciting happened. I did, however, receive a Christmas present from a family in the ward and they gave me a stuffed gorilla! It is pretty awesome.

Oh also I bought a backpack for myself. Thank you all who contributed because my other one broke haha. But thanks everyone for your help and for your prayers.

Kaytlyn, here are some names that I promised you. Francisco, Ana, Clara Lalo, Omar Santos, Miriam Flabio. Those are the names of our investigators with a baptismal date who need help. Thanks.

Love you all and can't wait to talk to you this Wednesday- some Mexican holiday -navidad (Christmas) or algo asi (something like that).
